Ruud van Nistelrooy has insisted Arsenal have the depth to cope with the absence of Kai Havertz ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash with the Foxes. Mikel Arteta’s side have been dealt a blow with Havertz the latest key attacker to be ruled out for the rest of the season with a hamstring injury , following Gabriel Jesus’ long-term knee issue and Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli also out with hamstring problems.

Arsenal face their first major challenge when they travel to Leicester on Saturday, and Van Nistelrooy believes Arteta still has plenty of options to deal with the German’s absence.

“Arsenal have got plenty of depth, of course,” Ruud told a press conference. “Of course , losing Saka and Havertz, who are world-class players, has an impact on the team, โปรโมชั่นพิเศษจาก UFABET สมัครตอนนี้ รับโบนัสทันที. but when you look at their squad, they still have plenty of options to fill in.

‘But the squad, when you look at that, they have enough player to replace them.

‘It’s clear that the difference between us and Arsenal is big. You can see that, it is in the table. The team is fighting for the title, is in the Champions League, so it’s a big challenge for us and something for us to look forward to.

Van Nistelrooy also credited Arsenal for their impressive success from set-pieces this season.

‘They’ve been very successful on set-pieces but not just that,’ Van Nistelrooy said.

‘You can see the development in football, in the Premier League, with set-pieces, with set-piece coaches, and with the approach on all set-pieces, throw-ins, corners, free-kicks, penalties, everything.

” It’s clear the difference between our team and Arsenal’s, you can see that in the table. They are competing for the title and playing in the Champions League, so it is a big challenge for us and something we are looking forward to.”
