Manchester United are likely to miss out on signing former Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres this summer.
Gyokeres was immediately linked with a move to Old Trafford. After Ruben Amorim took over as the new manager in November.
The Swedish international has been in fine form since moving to Portugal, scoring 77 goals in 85 appearances for Sporting.
